birding-at-the-farm-new-design

We had so much fun at our Birding day in April 2016. A big thank you to Kathy Lamberg for sharing with us all about local birds, how to recognize them, and what they are doing in spring. She made a great power point presentation to show us the birds, plus we listened to their bird calls on an Audobon CD. Then we went out into the field and around the pond and gardens to watch them at work building their nests and defending their territory! Thank you to Wild Birds Unlimited for loaning us binoculars to use, and helping us promote this event!

We also had fun making birdhouses to take home. Thank you to Don Lown for the donation of the bird house kits.

We hope you will join us next Spring again!
