It was a lovely fall day at the granary, and about 10 people gathered to make reed baskets with Cheryl, our fearless instructor! We had a delightful time sipping tea and creating unique baskets. We even had a mom and two kids who had a great time playing outside and making baskets. The one created by the little girl had rainbow colors in it and she said would be her Easter basket next year. It was wonderful how easy Cheryl made the class. Several board members as well as myself (Karen) were on hand to help. Each person left with a big smile and a great basket. We definitely will offer this class again in the future.
This was our last public class at our current location at the Hunton’s farm. We are having to move to a new location next year in 2019, and we hope that we find just the right place soon.
It was great to enjoy the crisp air and warm sunshine, with the crackly leaves and birds calling overhead. we will miss this place!
Thank you Cheryl Chamber, of Hybrid Real Estate, for leading this great class!
