Halloween at the Homestead

Family oriented (not too scary) fun for kids ages five to nine. This magical, exclusive event includes making arts and crafts, games and prizes, shadow puppet theater, bake sale and hot apple cider. Prizes include gift certificates to the popular Dancing Weasel Toy Store in Eugene. Crafts include: make a lavender ghost, decorate a pumpkin, create your own shadow puppets, and decorate a paper lantern. Game is the classic “Apple Snap.”

pioneer-houseCost is $8 per child. Held in the granary building at Singing Creek Educational Center (at the family farm of the Huntons) at 91949 Purkerson Rd. Junction City, Oregon. Parking on-site and parent/designated adult will stay with children. You will need to sign a liability release form and pay at the door when you arrive.

Wear clothes you can get dirty in (or dress up in a halloween costume but please leave scary/gory stuff at home.) No weapons including fake ones, please. We can only accommodate 15 children so sign up early.
