Join SCEC at the BookMine in Cottage Grove during the Artwalk in April! We will be bringing one of the original copies of Opal Whiteley’s “The Fairyland Around Us” book for viewing. Also on display will be a first edition copy of Opal’s “Journal of an Understanding Heart”, the famous childhood journal the captured the imagination of the world.

We are celebrating 50 years of the BookMine, and also 10 years of Singing Creek Educational Center’s non-profit status.
