Only 20 lucky children will be registered to come experience hands-on history in the area’s only Victorian house museum. SCEC staff will teach the Kalapuya Ways Native American presentation for 30 minutes, then you get a house tour and learn about pioneers and early settlers for 30 minutes. Round out your trip with a self-guided hike on Skinners Butte just behind the house.

This special event is ONLY for Adventure! Children’s Museum members. Field trip is for ages 5 – 12 years old. Please sign up below. First come, first served. If you need to cancel, please give us as much time as possible so we can allow someone else to take the spot.

Parking is just next to the house in the wooded lot. To get there, go to Pearl St. and Third, and follow the signs to drive behind the YaPoAh Terrace building. Other lots may tow you.
