Chipmunk Circle: Pre-K to Kinder Indigenous learning in your classroom or library
This engaging and hands-on curriculum will delight your young students!
For ages 2.5 – 6
Our instructor will read storybooks from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and other Indigenous stories, with the help of Kwis Kwis, our stuffy (a Townsend’s Chipmunk.) The program gently introduces words and concepts that may be new for younger children. Crafts provide a movement and activity component to the learning. Instructors are respectful of Indigenous culture and traditional practices, taking care to be inclusive and adaptive.
All of our programs have been vetted by Tribal members involved in education, such as the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Curriculum Specialist and others.
Time: 30 minutes
Cost: $150 per class (up to 30 kids)
