The Lane Culture and Education Alliance is made up of representatives from area museums, historical societies, performing and community arts groups, science and technology centers, culture bearers and humanities specialists, as well as K-12 education specialists and administrators. In fact, Singing Creek is a part of the Alliance! The Culture and Education Alliance’s mission is to advocate for and support arts and cultural education in Lane County schools and communities through collaborations with area school districts and community organizations.
The Culture and Education Alliance has information about a variety of programs available in the area that pertain to schools, groups, and classes. Teachers and school directors can use the website to find current programs in the area and then create opportunities (i.e. field trips and guest teachers) for learning and growth through those programs.
