DESCRIPTION:This is a wonderful festival every year\, and we will be a part of it this year with some fun displays and activities for kids. Please visit the fairgrounds and see all the frontier\, wild west and civil war era goods and demonstrations. A great time for the whole family! This is happening at the same time as the Asian Celebration\, but in a different building. Make plans to do both events! \nAlso on Saturday morning\, meet our new Trapper Jerry! DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, Feb 25th at 1pm for a fun class learning to make your own tin can lanterns!\n \nCost: $5\, We provide your tin cans and supplies. Bring an extra hammer from home if you have one. Best for ages 7 and up. \nLocation: the Granary building at Singing Creek Center. \nIn the Homestead Arts program\, we explore different historical crafts and games and always have a good time! Make something unique to take home and share with friends and family. \nThis time\, we use tin cans and a hammer and nails to make some pretty designs and give it a sturdy handle for safety. You can put a candle or LED light in your can lantern and bring some festive twinkle to your home. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. \nPlease sign up with the form below. You can pay your fee when you arrive for class. You will also be required to sign a liability release form upon arrival.
