DESCRIPTION:CLASS IS FULL- PLEASE CHECK BACK AGAIN IN SPRINGBefore reliable refrigeration\, anyone with a cow would know the process to turn any excess milk into cheese so it wouldn’t spoil. We will make a fresh hard cheese from whole milk and a cheese culture\, and learn about different hard and soft cheese cultures and processes. We will go through the entire process from cultured milk to formed cheese ready for the press. We will also go over how to make yogurt and kefir. \nThis class is taught by our instructor Kevin Prier\, at the Snapp House at 360 S. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and kid-friendly vintage Halloween party at the Snapp House in Cottage Grove! Games\, crafts\, activities and spooky shadow puppet play. Also a yummy bake sale!\nThis event is candy and plastic free. Crafts are old-fashioned and made with real materials. Space is limited to 20 kids and their parent(s). \nSIGNUPS WITH FORM BELOW.\nFun activities include; \n\nLavender Ghosts\nRaffia witches brooms\nHalloween bingo with pioneer toy prizes\nShadow Puppet play “The Little Hobgoblin”\n\nAnd you can MEET GHOSTS from Cottage Grove history\, such as: \nOPAL WHITELEYDR. SNAPP andBOHEMIA JOHNSON \nSaturday October 26th\, 3:30 to 5:30pm! \nCostumes are optional.Pre-registration is required on this website. You can pay in advance using Paypal. \nCost: $10 per participating child; adults are free \nDetails: No pets allowed. This is an alcohol and drug free event. Parking is out front\, with one handicap spot right in front. There are stairs up the the Snapp House; it is not wheelchair accessible at this time. There is a working bathroom inside. We will do our best to have gluten free and dairy free options in the bake sale. We will also be serving apple cider.
