SUMMARY:Homestead Arts: Rag Rugs
DESCRIPTION:Come learn how to make your own braided rag rug at the Granary at Singing Creek Center! Bring some old sheets to tear into strips to make the rug. You can find them easily at Goodwill or thrift stores. Our class is taught by Carolyn Bard\, and we will have “starts” for you to use so you can dive right in. Adults can register for this class as well (no need to have a child with you.) \nThe granary building is not wheelchair accessible at this time; there are two steps up to the front door. \n$10 fee per person- pay in advance. \nIf you prefer not to use Paypal and pay at the door\, please contact our Director\, Karen at karen@singingcreekcenter.org or 541 968-1986. \nPre-registration is required using the form below. SUMMARY:Holiday Bazaar at the Pioneer Schoolhouse
DESCRIPTION:The annual Holiday Bazaar at the Pioneer Schoolhouse will be on Saturday and Sunday\, December 2nd and 3rd\, from 9am to 4pm.\nThis event is presented by the Camas Country Bakery.\nSCEC will have a booth at the bazaar selling holiday decorative swags and baskets! Come get something pretty for $6 – $10 to hang on your door or for inside your home! We will have bows\, pinecones\, silk flowers\, fresh green boughs and ornaments. We make them to order on the spot or you can purchase a pre-made swag. Support our children’s programs while bringing good cheer! \nWe will only have our booth on SATURDAY the 2nd\, but please visit the Bazaar on either day. \n \n \nThe pioneer schoolhouse\, home of the Camas Country Bakery\, is just down the road from us.
