DESCRIPTION:Due to the Coronavirus we have to cancel this event. We hope to reschedule! Please check back.\nJoin us Saturday April 25th at Singing Creek Center as we put in our garden for the year!\nFREE for all ages! \nWe have two raised garden beds at the end of our driveway\, alongside the coast fork of the Willamette River. We’ll have starts on hand to put into the beds. After we work a little we can play the fun outdoor Game of Graces and go for a walk over the swinging bridge across the river! \nWe have garden gloves and tools to borrow. If you have a dog please keep it on a leash at all times. Bring your own water and snacks too. \nWe look forward to seeing you. Meet at the Snapp House at noon.

SUMMARY:Pioneer Garden Day 2017
DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday May 20th as we put in our new pioneer garden for the year! We use this garden all year long\, for summer camps\, homeschool classes and more. The property owners\, Tom and Sue\, are generous enough to share space in their fenced garden and provide the water\, but we need to provide everything else- including people-power! This is a work party so it is FREE!!!! Sign up by emailing our Director at karen@singingcreekcenter.org. \n \nThis is a fun day for all ages to work and laugh together in the garden. Look for worms\, stones and new baby plants! \n \nWe need donations of gardening tools and a bench for our lovely pioneer garden.\nSome items we need: \n\nGloves\nTrowels\nrake\nshovel\nwheelbarrow\nstraw bales\nhoe\nbench\ntoolshed\norganic fertilizer (chicken manure?)\nkids-sized tools and gloves\ntin pails\nplants\nbamboo stakes\ntin watering can\ngarden art stakes\ndeer proof netting\nand more!\n\nContact our Exec Dir by email if you can help: karen@singingcreekcenter.org.
