SUMMARY:Final Weekend: Letitia Carson Exhibit at the SMJ House
DESCRIPTION:See the Letitia Carson: Oregon Black Pioneer exhibit at the SMJ House before it’s gone!\n  \nSCEC partnered with the SMJ House this summer to bring this exhibit to Eugene. It highlights the story of Letitia Carson\, one of the first Black pioneers in Oregon. \nThis beautiful exhibit details what we know about this courageous woman and her family’s quest for life\, liberty\, and happiness in the unwelcoming territory of Oregon in the 1800’s. \nCome tour the house and see the traveling exhibit\, brought to us by Oregon Black Pioneers\, which will be ending on September 30th. The panels and exhibits will spark discussion in your group.

Listen to stories and flute music and bring a journal to record your thoughts and feelings as we connect to the sacred Mother.
